Genesis 4:17-26

Soon Cain's wife bore Enoch, a son. Cain named a city after this one. Unto Enoch was born Irad. To Irad Mehujael. To him was born Methusael, from whom Lamech did hail. Lamech took a wife whose name was Adah. He thought "one's not enough" and married also Zillah. Adah bore to Lamech a son named Jabal. His sons keepers of cattle, in tents dwelt them all. Jabal's brother was Jubal whose sons were musicians. Those who playeth the harp and the pipe in addition. Zillah bare Tubalcain, who molded iron and brass. Then came a sister, Naamah, as the time did pass. Lamech took a life feeling justified by hurt. "Seventy sevenfold vengeance!" Lamech did assert. Next Adam and Eve, had another son, Seth. A gift of comfort after their son Abel's death. Also to Seth was born Enosh, a son. A time when men called on the Lord had begun.
