Genesis 3

Now the serpent was crafty, with deceit in his heart. Mistrust in our God, he wished to impart. "Is it true God said you may NOT eat of all trees? Listen to me, my dear, won't you please?" "Eat of the tree in the midst of the garden You shall NOT surely die, I beg your pardon." "In fact," said he, "if you eat of that tree" Wiser and smarter, like God you will be." The woman looked at the tree, it was nice to behold. She desired to be wise as the serpent had told. She took of the fruit and ate thereof. She then gave to her husband, he also ate of. They looked at each other, thinking "Something's askew!" Their eyes were then opened. "We're naked!" they knew. They took leaves and sewed them and made themselves aprons. This choice that they made would affect all generations They heard the Lord coming and quickly they hid. "Where are you My son?" God did bid. "I heard your voice, my Lord, I knew You were near. We were naked, my Lord, and I did fear." "You're naked, my son, yes, how did you know? Did you eat of that tree of which I told you, "No"?" "That woman you gave me!" Adam proclaimed "It was her, My Lord, yes she's to be blamed!" Responded then Eve, "The serpent my Lord!" "The serpent beguiled me, what lies that he poured!" The Lord said to the serpent, "You'll be cursed above all." "Down to your belly, from now on you'll crawl." "Between you and the woman, enmity there will be. Bruising and strife between you and her seed." To the woman, said He, "Sorrow and pain in conception you'll see. To your husband shall be your desire and he shall henceforth rule over thee." God turned then to Adam, "Cursed be the ground. In hardship you'll labor, heavy work shall be found." "The land shall bring forth thistle and thorn. In the sweat of your face, you'll work 'til you're worn." "From the ground you were taken, to the ground you'll return. For the rest of your life, through this lesson you'll learn." Out from the garden, God sent Adam and Eve. Instead of life they choose death and they had to leave.
