Genesis 2:4-17God created the heavens, the earth, and every plant upon land. Next, from the dust of the earth, created He man. Into man, the breath of life God breathed. A living soul, so much hope, so much good to be seized. A beautiful garden was planted by the Creator. Man was placed in this garden, no land could be greater. From the ground the Lord made every good tree to grow, A pleasant gift full of food and life was bestowed. In the midst of the garden, the Tree of Life stood. Next, a tree holding knowledge of both evil and good. Out from Eden, then God, created a river, To flow through the garden, that no leaf should wither. God told the man to look after the garden. All the trees you may eat of, except the one of evil and good take no part in. Trust in Me and hear what I say. Steer clear from that tree or you choose death that day. You may live in the midst of My garden forever. Choose life, My son, I hope that you will. However... A choice you must make to do right or do wrong. You choose who you'll be, you write your own song. |
