Genesis 1-2:3

The Creation in Rhyme

Day 1 All was darkness, with no light. God said, "Let there be" and it was bright. Thus He divided day from night. Day 2 There were waters above and waters below. Let there be sky for rain and wind and snow. Sky above, water below. That's what He said and it was so. Day 3 The waters then gathered and dry land stood. Grass and trees grew, just as they should. God declared, "Yes, this is good!" Day 4 Let there be lights for day and lights for night. For signs and seasons, yes this is right. The sun by day, moon and stars by night, let these yield the gift of light. Day 5 All was good, yet there's still much more. For the waters and skies, so much greatness in store. God made the fish and the birds, creatures galore! Day 6 Then on land more creatures appeared. Next came man, sons of God to be reared. The angels in heaven, they surely cheered. Day 7 The works of heaven and earth came to a finish. The Holy seventh day Sabbath we shall never diminish.
