Change

We seek out those who will accept us, "just the way we are". "Why should I change who I am to reach someone else's bar?" While true love loves in spite of weaknesses and flaws, True love wants you to bloom and grow within our Father’s laws. You see our flaws can sometimes hurt us and those we claim to love. True love is not indeed true love unless it comes from up above. True love might call you to give up some of what you cherish. Some ways, in the end, if you do not change, will cause your soul to perish. True love is not blind, true love will never fail. While the anchor of sin may hold you down, true love wants to see you sail! Sometimes when you're stubborn and refuse to change and grow, True love must be tough love and tell you a firm, "no". When you see you're hurting others, you can't say, "That's who I am". If "who you are" is harming others, it's time to take a stand. Stand up to those who tell you you're fine "just as you are". Yes, true love loves you now, but wants you to reach your furthest star. Life is short. Take the time to change; reach out high and far. We're not given this time to simply stay the way we are. As much as true love loves us, it can't sit still, enabling us to stray. Sometimes to remain true love...true love walks away...
