Hebrews 11-12

The Promise

Abraham, Enoch, Jacob, Rahab, and Moses These died in faith, receiving not yet the promise. Abel, Noah, Joseph, Isaac, and Sarah All saints from a forgotten era. Having seen not the promise, still they knew. Through trials sore, their faith only grew. Strangers and pilgrims, unseen promises embraced. No matter the mocking, the scourging, the afflictions they faced. Let us look upon these in our own times of trial. Fruits of peace and righteousness will grow all the while. Beyond these, let's look to the Savior of all. He endured the cross and He'll not let us fall. Make straight your path and lift up your hands. Take heed to the words our Creator commands. Cast out bitterness, follow peace with all man. Alone we cannot, but through Him we can. More trials ahead, how shall we get through? By faith. Rejoice! He'll make all things new.
